What does the Network do?
The Nottinghamshire Network of u3as was established in 2009 to enable cooperation between u3as, to provide support across the county and also to enable the launch of new u3as.
Currently, 33 u3as in Nottinghamshire form the Network and four meetings are held a year, attended by one or two representatives from each u3a. During these meetings members have the opportunity to share examples of good practice and talk through issues that arise.
Peer Support Groups are a major strength of the Network allowing members representing each of the main committee roles to meet.
Regular workshop sessions are held for Network members to enhance knowledge about running a u3a and committee.
Major events are also organised for Notts u3as such as the 40th Anniversary flash mob or the 2024 Conference.
See Our u3as page for details and links to Notts Network websites.
